It was a cold week with winds that made me nervous for the game.  It was a windy and cold tailgate but we are always prepared so it was fine.  Byron bought the side panel for the tent that helps stop the wind. Of course, there were several heaters.

We were going to have a sandwich tray because it's easy and it was an early game.  However, Edwin said he doesn't like sandwiches at the tailgate and we decided to have Chili.  Thank goodness for the veto because chili was perfect for this game.  Ed and I made the chili at home and we warmed it up at the tailgate.  Parker offered to be the "Official Chili Stirrer".  However, I'm not sure if I ever saw him near the pot!  :-)

Several of us left the game early and ended up back at the tailgate.  Allyson and I had a karaoke session singing "Don't Stop Believing".  I was very impressed she knew every word to the song.

Our neighbor in Sanford Stadium, Dewey Moody, missed this game.  It might be the first home game he missed since sometime in the 80's.  He had surgery for prostate cancer.  However, he is doing well now and has not missed any more home games.

Carolyn and Gary Willis have been our neighbors in Sandford Stadium ever since we have had our seats. Unfortunately, Gary's knee is not good so their children have taken over their seats. Below you will see a photo of their daughter and grandson, Drew.

The family, the Boyers,  that sits in front of us is from Sparta. Ed grew up with their father, Mike.  He often comes to the games.  They have 3 small children that come to most of the games and they are so wonderful.  Below you will see a photo of their sweet little girl.

Neil and Tara did not make it to the game and graciously donated their tickets to the tailgate.

Menu:
Huge Pot of Chili.  "Chili Bar" that included shredded cheese, Fritos, oyster crackers, cornbread, cream cheese, sliced jalapenos and hot dogs.  Other foods were UGA shaped pasta salad, Tortilla chips and dip, cream cheese/caramel dip with Apples, Pimento Cheese Sandwiches, bacon and tomato dip with crackers, Swedish party sandwiches and Wallace bought some Deer Bratwurst.  Mimosas and Bloodys.

Our Final Head Count was 38.

Weather Report was 42 with 10mph winds in the morning. The high for the day 60 with winds up to 20 mph.
