Another win!

This was a special game because our great friends, Steve and Teresa Chamber's, daughter got married this day. Casie and Shane had a beautiful wedding at Lake Oconee.  The Jordan's, Wolfe's, Bently's, Waddell's and Elaine stayed in a house on the lake near the Wedding.

We were able to watch the game at the house then off to the wedding.  Mike Veal played that night and there was a lot of dancing going on.  Richie Bently had fun!

Susan was in charge of the "Groom's Table"  With a little help from
her friends we dipped several strawberries.  They were amazing!
We are still trying to figure out what we were
talking about.  Does anyone have a clue?

I remember we were all ready for a win at this point....  We needed a big shut out!

I did miss this game because I was on a Walk to Emmaus at Rock Eagle. I especially missed being at the first winning game of the season but I was there in spirit! I want to thank each of you wrote me a letter they were all very special to me.

Billy, thank you for sharing photos!

The Menu:
The Linebergers smoked some Boston Butts for BBQ for this game.  I know that Billy Wendt and Parker Morgan provided some of their homemade BBQ Sauce!

I need to know your memories?

Ed, Jamie and Billy ~ I see a BBQ sandwich!

Our first game in Athens! It's always my favorite game. We get to see old friends and meet new people.

This year was extra special because we had Caroline Griffin and April Wendt celebrating their 50th birthday.  Laura Pruitt made a large Birthday Banner and hung it on the parking deck to let everyone know about the celebration. We had extra fun at the tailgate. Too bad we didn't win!

We also had some new people join our "Tailgate Crew" this year.  Jay and Robin Knight.  They work with Johnny Griffin at GMC and they have been a great addition to our group.

Byron bought us new tents this year and we have a nice new tall Georgia tent that Ed and Wallace do not have to duck under so much.  I wonder how many times they have bumped their heads on the tent?  Also, I wasn't told this but we have new table too.  Bryon, did you do that?  Thank you!

We had a visitor take "nap" watching our TV.  Does any know who she was? see photo below.

This is one of the 2 games Worm made it to.  Ross came and bought his girlfriend.

At the bottom you will see photos that Billy Wendt took on the sideline.  Bubba Watson visiting this day.  We had no idea that he would be the winner of The Masters in 2012!

Menu:
Johnny aka "Coach" grilled chicken or as us Georgia fans like to say "Gamecock" for this game.  We would be lost without the Griffins and all that they contribute to our tailgate.  Billy Wendt and Parker Morgan made their homemade BBQ Sauce.  We also had.... Slaw, Potato Salad, Baked Beans, Deviled Eggs, Box Choy Salad, Pimento Cheese Sandwiches, Pigs in the Blanket, Sausage Balls, Guacamole and chips, Nachos with Cheese and Chicken (Robin made this and it was great!), Corn Dip and chips, Fruit and Dip, Chocolate Graham Cracker Desert (made by Amy and it didn't last long!).  Needless to say, none of us go hungry!

Our final Headcount was 43 but I know many more people came.

What are your memories?
